Fall Home Upkeep List

Home ownership comes with upkeep! There's no way around that. One way to keep you home in tip-top shape is to schedule in yearly maintenance, and Fall is the perfect time.

Here's a short list to get you started:

- Service furnace/HVAC units, change filters, and clean the ventilation system.

- Reverse ceiling fans clockwise.

- Replace Smoke Detector batteries and test function.

- Clean dryer vents.

- Seal windows and door cracks.

- Seal and touchup exterior paint on any areas that look weathered or cracked.
